Ibis Hotel Sale

BEKO CAPITAL ADVISORY is pleased to announce its role as the sell-side advisor for KASADA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT [a leading independent real estate private equity platform dedicated to the hospitality sector in Africa with a portfolio of 20 internationally branded hotels in 7 jurisdictions across the continent], in the sale of Hotel IBIS Douala to the strategic buyer Christina Hotel, [a subsidiary of BOCOM Group]. The transaction was successfully closed in Q2 2024.
In our capacity as the sell-side advisor, we provided support to KASADA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT throughout the entire process, assisting with preliminary analysis and due diligence (physical, financial, tax & legal), market research and valuation, marketing of the opportunity, identification of-, engagement and negotiation with potential buyers on the terms of the transaction, as well as with the closing process.
Hotel IBIS Douala, initially opened in 1985 and located in the Bonanjo business district, has been a prominent international brand and flagship hotel in Cameroon for several decades, with 160 rooms and key facilities in an 8-storey building. BEKO CAPITAL ADVISORY is delighted to have played its part in the successful completion of this commercial real estate transaction.
